The REAL mystery is HOW he kept all the print from rubbing off the Eagle Tag and has kept it all (Even the shmag which in my kit doubles as a hanky) in such pristine condition.

I think mine looked that good for about five minutes until I went out the wire and sweat in it.

    Uh ohhhhhhh...........

    No I didn't!

    Yes I did

    DAMN! SNAAAAAPPPP!!!!!

Well no wonder you had problems! I mean you're missing a couple of components there buddy!

    It's like a "swap meet louie" MK12!

Picky picky -- I got the CIRAS after I came home -- I ran a RAV overseas.
I lost my green/black shmeg - the tablecloth colored on came off something I had initally bought the GF.

I've been out more than a year -- and if you thought that one was welfare.

Check out the C7CT that eventually we did get issued

Hey I recognize some of those places.

I think maybe even some of the faces

You know....... That pic reminds me of an upper 3rd ID was running. Basically a $300 Bull Barrel Upper with a $90 scope. Was that PEQ mount just sorta "Screwed on"

Brother........................... I owe you a beer, a bargin basement PSD crew is always a sad sight. Remeinds me of my days in the Corps. Which is the excuse I use for scrounging EVERYTHING now.

One pic was me on the US Embassy ERT in Kabul -- the other stuff is Cdn mil
The C7CT was Diemaco's elcheapo SPR system. My old WO put an article in SOF with one of those pics.
No idea who made the freefloat tube - it was solid alum and had three chuncks of M1913 rail on it -- just sorts Diemaco 1:7 Bull barrel and hacked gas block that had a lever for "single shot" -- how assinine IMHO.
Shot about as well as a rack grade gun - despite the KAC trigger
    They got discontinued thank god.

    Doing more with less

Sorry to say brother but for some it seems that the bean counters end up deciding what is best sometimes. And this appears to be what happened to you and your buddies. One day I hope we can hook up (Tell me what toys to bring) have a few beers and BS about the shopping on Chicken Street or Food revues about the Kunduz Restaurant.

I'll chat later but right now the pain meds are creeping up.

Funny, first thanksgiving home in 6 years and it is convalescence leave LOL

    Cheers brother
