    Yes ... That would be Jerry Plum. So TechOps developed the handguard and worked with Rebel on their first release (Mod1) ... The mounting system was horrid as many of us found out and Rebel no longer uses the TechOps rail. However ... TechOps still sells rifles they have built on Rebel lowers/uppers. This sounds like one of those builds

    Starting to make sense now.....
    I did provide a link to the older design earlier in the thread.
    It looks like SLR makes their rails now.

    Yea the Mod2 uses SLR rails and those w adj gas have SLR blocks too

    I don't have any SLR rails but I have installed dozens of them and I like them very much. They get a little hot but they are well built and nicely priced. They have tons of options to. I have an SLR gas block on my precision rifle and it's pretty cool.
