Anybody tried these on an LWRC? Looking for something longer and lighter to replace the old ARM-R . I've asked around but cant get a definitive answer on if they fit over the piston. I know a Samson Evolution will work and also uses a stock barrel nut which is what I want, but I want M-LOK and Samson doesn't have that.

I'm considering one of these, the 15" version specifically, for one of my 6720s. Anyone else have any recent feedback? The other contender is the 15" mlok cmr at a cost of $70 or so more and plus installation from a local smith, around $60 I believe.

With the Troy, I can do most of the removal of furniture myself and just pay the smith to chop my FSP, since that version uses the standard barrel nut.

I'm wanting to free float the Colt for the extra handguard space and to get rid of the FSP when using an Aimpoint PRO. (I've got another 6720 that's 100% stock as a KISS gun, so also wanting a little more variety in my current AR stable).

I haven't had any problems with mine. They do get marked up a bit easy, however. So if that's something that may bother you I'd look at different rails with a stronger finish.

    I have a 13" on a 14.5 bcm.
