I wonder why Troy doesn't post specs on their site; seems strange for a Manufacturer
I had to call them to get specs on their 308 rails. After hearing the specs, I passed, lol.
Really the only reason Im looking at the Troy M LoK is due to it using the standard barrel nut as I have a 14.5 with pin/welded flash hider.
I honestly like the Geislle barrel lock up and rail... Guess I may just have to remove the flash hider.
Weight was decent but the width was enormous for an AR15 rail - there are narrower 308 rails out there.
I got SMOS Arm's new 308 rail. I wanted as much an NSR-esque rail as I could find and this is it, for now, anyway. Barrel nut width, fairly light weight etc.
Wanted a 12.0, but the 13.6 is the only length it's made in, so I settled. Not bad for $195 though. They need an aluminum barrel nut, however. Nut's 3.2oz.

Thats a good looking M LOK compatible rail
I hadn't seen their products before. I definitely see why you chose that for the AR-10 platform..
Their 556 rail looks good as well, I agree on the barrel nut.. with that they would be right there with the lighter weight options.
SMOS is considering T7075 Barrel Nuts as an option.
There's plenty of 'beef' there without a strength concern. I've got Vertex Ops' T7075 NSR barrel nuts on a bunch of rifles and the difference is truly dramatic.
