    Anybody here run a Noveske 8.5" 300 Blk with a Saker762?

I bought a SiCo Saker762 specifically for 300 Blk and I bought a Noveske 8.5" 300 barrel for the build. Only after purchasing the barrel did if find this language:

"Noveske found evidence that the suppressor may require a symmetrical baffle stack as found in the AAC Cyclone K, 762-SDN6, and Surefire 762K suppressor. Suppressors which cause off axis turbulence, such as those with K type baffles, may cause baffle strikes and/or point of impact shift, and may damage your suppressor."

Not sure what the technical term is for the Saker's baffles (I believe that they are K baffles), but I don't believe the aperture is truly a symmetrical circular. Anybody run this combination? Hard to believe that this issue is exclusive to Noveske barrels of this length.

Come to think of it, my Octane 45HD also has a non symmetrical circular aperture too! Balls!

Not sure if this helps, but I have the same barrel and have run my Octane 9, 45, and SpecWar with subsonic ammo with no problems.

Thanks. I believe that the SpecWar has the same stack as the Saker.

I asked this very question to Noveske tech line last week. They said the Saker was good to go.

Yeah I really do not see the Saker Noveske combo being an issue, Noveske and Sliencerco are pretty tight as in they cross associate on a lot of their products. To be safe it does not hurt to ask. I was think about going the Noveske route with my 300 SBR and Saker combo but I went PWS MK109 and thus far I am fully satisfied, no malfs or anything. Please let us know how you like the Noveske. Best of luck

Come to think of it, didn't the have a campaign together featuring the combination in question (8.5" 300 with a Saker 762)?

I've been considering getting a Saker 762 to shoot with a 300 BlK but not sure it's justified given how little I'd shoot it vs my 556 rifles with cans. I have an Octane 9 so I'm curious how it performs vs a 762 suppressor on a 300 BlK. Any draw backs to just running the Octane 9 on the 300 BlK? Thanks for any advice provided.

Obviously the Octane is subsonic only. My Octane 9 sounds great with subs (better then my SOCOM762-RC IMHO). My Saker just got out of jail and haven't had a chance to compare it to my Octane.

The Saker 762 is a great can for all 3 (300 BO, 5.56 and 308) and cash really stand up to the abuse. It isn't going to be the lightest, quietest, or shortest but IMHO one of the better all around cans out there.
