"When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." Thomas Jefferson.
I have no trigger time behind the Omega, and there are a ton of threads and videos out there with the pro's and con's. On paper it looks like a sweet little can, but I personally have no interest in it. I already have 3 different mounting systems (SiCo's trifecta, Surefire's, and thunder beast's brakes). I don't want to add the ASR ti the mix.
Some other cans to look at: thunder beast's Ultra 7, Surefire's new 300 blackout can, and Sig's new 7.62 can.
First thing to do is make a list of your priorities in a suppressor.
Rank the following by value. (Below is my ranking for rifle cans from most to least important).
-Mount/locking mechsnism
-POI shift
-Accuracy
-Blowback on semiautomatic weapons
-Signature (flash etc.)
-Durability
-Customer service/support
-Weight
-db reduction
-Price
-If the cool kids are running these.
The only difference is if I'm looking to supress a dedicated 300 blackout rig where decibels become more important to me.
