I FREAKING HATE CAR SALESMAN here

went and bought a new 4 runner trail

    salesman here:
    basically battle for hours !

my FJ I tried to the normal way then ended up getting it with a costco deal which was better so in some ways that was my lesson learned and ended up getting the rig at a better price

now the 4Runner I should have gotten that way also but tried the edmunds pricing thing ?
well I got it kinda but was a major battle once again and the old OH this is my manager kinda thing typical again dealer installed stuff blah blah fight back and forth takes half a day
they ended up taking on a dif doc and dealer fee on the end ? so wrote edmunds will see what they do ? but at this point got a OK deal and financed half of it at %2.9 so happy enough but man I do not know what it is about car dealers and sales folks cause they suck compared to the island folks

    island dealer
dealer: HEY aloha what you looking for !
me: this one but make me best offer no make me go to the mainland and ship OK
dealer: OK no worries let me go check
maybe 3-4 minutes later OK howz about dis price ! BOOM super insane dealer basically always well below MSRP out the door with everything tax lic etc..... ! and cheaper than any deal I could get from costco or other online pricing !
OH and never got the OH let me introduce you to my manager or the finance manager or the bait switch sales tactics etc...

maybe it was just the dealers I used and got lucky but most my friends got pretty good service if you get a bad sales guy you move on
OH brudah my twinkies were steamed yesterday just freaking hate it !!!!!!!!!
anyway got one 4 runner trail with KDSS and a couple things I wanted for $35,900 (before tax etc....) which was pretty good not a steal not a rip off but the trail are a bit less selection etc... msrp on the rig was 39,200 KDSS entune and another package which I OK with

really wanted the new TRD pro but none around super small allotments and they are going for way more like over 40 and wont do me any better off road ? so why bother

but man what it is it about car dealers ? need to find a better one and why I only buy a few cars new and tend to buy used mostly hahaahhahaha
but toyota 4x4 for me buy new since they hold insane value and are worth knowing whats into the rig

I think this post may have had something to do with buying an automobile but I cannot be 100% sure.

I'm SO HAPPY that pidgin crap hasn't made it to the mainland. Keep that red-headed cousin of ebonics over there!

Last car I bought, last year, was to replace a lease that was expiring on a hard-to-find specialty vehicle. I emailed the 5 closest dealers for pricing. Within 48 hours I had complete pricing by email from 4 of them. The cheapest was 90 miles away, called him, he shot me a price on my trad-in sight unseen, agreed to buy out the last three months of the lease. They found the vehicle I wanted, trucked it in last March in a raging blizzard. That same blizzard kept me from getting my trade-in down there, so they delivered the new vehicle to my garage and hauled away the old one. We did all the paperwork in my kitchen, never even set foot in the dealership. It was like ordering a pizza, just with more paperwork. All told, I got the vehicle at below invoice, saved me about $2500 in obviated lease payments and costs. I got the best OTD price of any of the other 4 dealers, and they didn't charge me for any of the transportation. For their part, they got a used vehicle in excellent condition for the residual value of $19,000, add in the $1500 to buy out the lease, and they were able to sell it for KBB of $28,000. Best car buying experience of my life.

Mine is non kdss though, In case I ever wanted to mod it seems it's easier to do without the kdss.

I love the new 4Runners. If I didn't need a bed I would have gotten another instead of my new Tacoma.

The TRD Pro 4Runner is an awesome truck.
