Look into Woolrich, they have back pockets similar to 511s that can take a 30 round magazine but don't have cargo pockets on the thigh.

These were my favorite light summer everyday pants. Low profile ,cool, great elastic waist and well made. They have been discontinued, can anyone recommend a replacement.. No cargo pockets and as little cotton as possible.

Lots of light weight options without cargo pockets.

I'm a huge fan of the REI Mistral climbing pants. Well-cut, very practical material, very durable to abrasions etc. More recently I've picked a few pair of PrAna Zion pants. They're just as well-made and just as attractive, but $20 cheaper. The Zion climbing pants do have a little cargo pocket on the left leg.
