that would be every time you pick up a loaded firearm with the intention of firing it? it should be. I'm not going to try to point out all the things that can go wrong with firing just one round with no eye protection but it's such a simple thing to do with no downside, as compared with not doing it which can have catastrophic permanent results that it makes less than no sense to do so. so, what's the point???
what "game" would that be? I've been riding for 35 years, currently have 6 motorcycles of various makes and purposes, even tried my hand at amateur roadracing and got pretty good at it for awhile. I still ride - a conservative estimate - over 25K/per year, year round in all temps and weather, and religiously practice ATTGAT (All The Gear All The Time), and the folks I ride with all seem to think I've "got game" when it comes to riding.
what's your "game" that is hindered by being smart? if your only criteria for wearing protective riding gear is how it makes you look, well, I stand by my first statement - stupid hurts. I'm guessing you ride, what... a harley?
and I don't get your reference to "lonely nights at the dunes"...
