This list would never be complete without "The Man Who would Be King".

Sean Connery and Michael Caine were great.

    My list so far:

    1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
    2. Treasure of the Sierra Madre
    3. Broken Arrow (the one with Travolta)
    4. The Ghost and the Darkness
    5. Enemy of the State
    6. Romancing the Stone
#1 and #6 if its for a girlfriend, my wife loves the Sopranos, the Bourne Movies, Sons of Anarchy because the internal drama drives it. Hope it helps.
I perfer black coffee in the morning, bourbon in evenings and spending money on sh*t I probably don't need.

Fury Road, Winter Soldier, and Fury are my three favorite action movies in the last few years by far.

Funny the connection with the word Fury (Nick Fury is a major character in Winter Soldier)

If you aren't armed when you take a dump in your own home then your opinion on what is a practical daily carry weapon isn't interesting to me.

I'd start her off with American films from the 60's, then 70's, so on and so forth.

The Magnificent Seven, The Wild Bunch, The Dirty Dozen, et al. and work your way up.

Also, some of the earlier Stallone movies were good, like Tango and Cash an Demolition Man, as well as a sleeper Kurt Russell flick "Big Trouble in Little China"...
