My local shop has the same set up. But they are not so much restricted, but rather priced with out FET I think.

Not sure about how they sell them, but anyone can get a 6920.

That's correct. I got mine in PA and had it slightly "modified" for here in N.J.

    HR,
Thanks for the update, and please keep them coming. I could have used a couple cases of XM193. As gun friendly as AZ is, we don't have anyone who sells good 5.56mm ammo, so I always end up ordering mine for the best price I can find on the Internet. And Congrats to everyone who picked up a Colt 6920. It's still my favorite rifle, and is also still free of any FTF's.

Lawman's is sold out of 6920's. Just talked to them and they don't know when they will get anymore......disappointing because of that nice price

Some of them are being sent down to the Lawmens in Columbia SC, and I've got a deposit on one of them. The LAwmens in Raliegh wanted to make sure it was for sale in SC, I think they did not want to ship anymore out of state, to dealers other then Lawmens.

Just picked up my 6920 at Lawmens and will post pix soon, but what everybody else might want to know is, Lawmens just got in 25 more. Get 'em while the getting's good because they'll fly out the door in a week or two.

But no more XM193 at the moment. Guess some dummy posted on M4C that Lawmens had XM193 for a good price, so the dummy found none left for himself. No seriously, they said LE agencies snapped up most of it.

Out of curiosity, when you guys get your 6920s, can you post back and let me know if they are large or standard pin fire control group receivers?

    Thanks.
