    Yup, that's your rifle!

I would never pay extra for LEO markings, especially because it's false... like paying for "auto" markings on a semi lower. If it's a clone build, then yes, but that's not my thing either.

To be clear, these are marked "LE6920" and not "M4 Carbine", correct? Or does the S/N just prefix with "LE"?

I don't live in a 'liberal' state but still...
If I go to the work range it is rare as my schedule is prohibitive and bleh.
So I go to a public range which seems to attract more than a few propellerheads. While I'm not anti-social, I don't like talking to other people during my moment of zen. That's why when I take out the ECC or HK91; I call ahead and arrange as private a bay possible because I just don't feel like the questions.

Another topic for another day but the thesis is that people lose their brains over magical words on a lower.

They are marked M4 Carbine. S/N prefix begins with LE.

Because there are still people out there that think these things are somehow special. i had a buddy recently get a 6920 and he was talking about what a special rifle it was like the "M4" stamped on the lower actually meant something. i wanted to kick him in the nuts, be he gets butthurt when you try to educate him contrary to what is posted on TOS, cause they are experts or something.

    its quite sad.

Do they say "Colt Defense" or "Colt Mfg Co" above the selector?

Just curious what all the fuss is about WRT the "Restricted" rollmark (Which I know about) and any other minute differences that I do not between the LE6920 and the regular 6920.

Restricted markings currently demand a higher value (and I predict this will not change). It's simply supply and demand, whether you agree or not.

Colt rifles have come down in price, and more can afford them. And it seems as if recent production Colt rifles have more QA/QC issues than 9-10 years ago.
