    Randall Made Knives, Orlando

Earlier this month we took the our kids, their husbands and our grandkids to Disney. One thing I wanted to do while in town was go to Randall. I've had a M18 for over 30 years and picked up a Vickers M15 a couple years back. Didn't know what to expect but we showed up one morning to see. A very nondescript facility well off the road with a simple single sign at the driveway. Entering the office a gentleman in a black shop apron come out of the shop and asked how he could help. Told him we were visiting and had to stop by. He asked if we would be interested is seeing the museum. Hell yes! He said he would call his brother to open it up and let us in. His brother was Michael Randall, Gary's son, Founder Bo's grandson. The museum had only been open a week or so and is housed in Bo's home on the property. What a facility, glass cabinets filled with every model imaginable, one offs, an original Astro, fighters and collectables from other makers. A room of pictures, letters (including those from Ronald Regan) and other print material. Mr Randall let us roam around, checking back periodically to share info and stories.

What a great experience! My 7 yr old grandson Luke talked about Randall Knives for the rest of the week. Like I told his dad, 'you have to start 'em out early'! The owners were welcoming gentlemen to us out-of-towers. Highly recommend to any knife fans who happen to be in the area.

Awesome. Randall makes some serious Grail knives for sure. Nice to know they are good people. Your grandson will always remember that. Now he needs his own Randall!

I too have a Vickers Randall. Super knife. Lives on my "get home" pack. Will at that to the list of things to do in Florida.

    Great story, thanks for sharing!

Can't say enough about Randalls. I purchased my first one (Model 15 Airman) over 20 years ago and it's still attached to my gear. Funny I just picked up 2 more that arrived last week. MODEL 25 Trapper and a MODEL 24 Guardian for the house chores of opening packages etc...Hand me downs for the boy.
