It looks like Boomfab is out of business and I can't find a Boomfab BCG at any online dealer.

What would be you alternate titanium, lightweight BCG?

I’m looking at the JP Complete ULTRA LMOS right now which comes in at 5.59 ounces including the bolt.

    What do you think?
    Thanks.

I did not know that about Boomfab. Interesting. I have been meaning to get my JP lowmass (steel) carrier swapped in the gun and color the deformations of the bolt to see if the issue is corrected by the change. I'll swap the Boomfab back and see if the bolt is still hitting the barrel extension lugs angled. I have seen the JP ultra lowmass carrier (aluminum) and decided against it for a titanium product as explained earlier. Looks like the Boomfab may have been a bad choice. If the problem is as I suspect and the Boomfab allows too much rotation of the BCG then I might look into getting the JP ultralowmass carrier and see about Boomfab or what is left of them giving a refund or selling it to someone who knows what they are buying.

Another alternative might be the SCT Titanium Bolt Carrier Group at 5.6 oc. Not sure if this includes the bolt.

or the LBC-Aluminum Lightweight Bolt Carrier at 3.9 oz.

I still can't shake the apprehension over using an aluminum carrier, of coarse I am looking at having a $500 paper weight if this Boomfab is as jacked as I think it is. If the carrier is the problem in testing I will probably go with the 5.7 ounce V7WS titanium carrier and ditch the iron sights to back under 4lb with the 1.3oz weight increase from the Boomfab. V7 stuff is precise and being mil-spec dimensions I would not likely have any issues with carrier twisting. On top of that it is black and the whole barrel/BCG combo would be V7 for a good match to the build.

I've got 2 of V7's Ti 556 BCGs and 1 762. Works of art. Highly recommend. I wouldn't do aluminum either, but that's just me.
