This is a Ford vs Chevy argument.

Higher end rifles would be Cadillacs.

The RRA is not twice the WW.

Neither one is my idea of "worth it". If they run for you, shoot the hell out of them and don't look back. Look around at proper AR assembly and make sure your rifles are assembled well. RRA and WW both skimp in some areas.

I'll take a C7 over anything Cadillac could produce

So telling the truth is being an idiot. OK lets play this out, the cheapest RRA operator Ive seen is $988.19 on impact guns. Guess what, grant is selling a complete Colt 6920 for $850. Amazing right? You want a pat on the back because you made a poor purchase, go somewhere else.

Coobie, I believe you said that you own BOTH of these rifles right? So you dropped coin on TWO second tier rifles but then talk about affordability? Am I missing something? You really should have just spent all that money on one top tier rifle. And I agree with the others, don't ever listen to gun shop owners. Take whatever they say with a huge grain of salt.

As usual, getting purchasing advice prior to purchasing tends to get best results. For general plinking etc, there's less expensive choices recommended (I recall Grant being a fan of some of the S&W offerings for low cost pilnkers for example) and for HD/duty, etc. there's better choices for same or less $$$ (Colt, DD, BCM, etc), but as others have said, shoot 'em, enjoy 'em, and drive on.

    $550 at Grants.

I got lucky and picked one up a month ago for $600 from my LGS.
