    .937 gas block

I have a dilemma and need some help. I have purchased a Krieger 26" varmatch barrel. the barrel at the gas block is .937. Now it comes with a gas block but I have a 15" PRl Delta forearm that I would like to continue to use. That gas block like the barrel, looks like a truck axle, is massive. It won't clear under the forearm.

I have two choices. A shorter forearm and exposed gas block or find a low profile .937 diameter gas block. I would prefer a different gas block. Seems that there are a lot out there. Most say they are for AR15 and then they say .308. Most are adjustable. I really don't care but if I am going to purchase a $100 adjustable gas block I want best.

Looking for advice. Right now I am looking at this one but I know nothing about them. Wilson Combat Low Profile Adjustable Gas Block

    Syrac Ordnance Gas Block

Don't get wrapped up to badly in the sizing nomenclature. There's no convention for identifying sizes that everyone follows. The gas block I linked to above will fit your barrel perfectly as will any other number of high quality gas blocks.

SLR block is also a good choice for an adjustable block and ever so slightly lower than the Syrac at 1.55" tall : http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?r...product_id=127

Troy is the smallest (though non-adjustable) set-screw block in 0.936 that I'm aware: https://troyind.com/products/gas-block-936

They don't list the dimensions, but I have one here and it's 1.38" tall. A VLTOR 0.750 set screw block is 1.34" tall by comparison.
