How many people here put a have emphasis on water?

How many people here put a heavy emphasis on water? I see a lot of threads about weight loss. And it's funny because I've been a big believer in drinking just water to keep weight off, and I don't really see anybody recommending cutting out sugary artificial drinks. And for anybody here who puts a serious emphasis on their water. Do yall filter your water in any way. I ask simply to see if anybody has found an easy way to filter out chlorine, fluoride and other undesirable trash from your water. Also Im asking about this to look for solutions, because I look at me body like a high performance race car. If you put crappy fuel in it you wont get stellar performance.

Water !! All the time, filter it at home. Made a berky, and coffee too. Once in awhile a French vanilla when I've been good lol.

I try to drink 3 L per day at least.

Coffee in the am and a La Crois in place of pop/sugary drinks.

Most convenient I've found is to put a good quality reverse osmosis filter and tank system at the sink. Not terribly expensive, and you always have clean water ready. We also travel with a Berkey and fill up water containers overnight when stopped.

I drink 1.5 gal+ of water by 3:30pm everyday at work.

Just know that cause I take my water with me. After work I just drink water but not at the same rate.

If my water bottle is with me I'm drinking water.

We have a nice reverse osmosis system with a tap on the sink.

BTW if you fill a container with water and let it sit the Cl2 will dissipate.

Reverse osmosis seems to be one the best ways. Do you mean that the "Cl2" type of Chlorine will dissipate and become non toxic.

Atleast 1 gallon plus per day for me. Tap, city, or bottle. Whatever is available as I'm not to picky about it but maybe I should be, idk.

I put a big emphasis on hydration, not a big emphasis on water per se. Studies also show people tend to drink more fluids if it has some flavor to it, and that's the case for me for sure. I tend to drink far more if it has a little flavor of some kind. If I'm out in the heat and will be sweating a lot, I'll make sure I have plenty of water, but otherwise, coffee (no, it does not cause water loss), diet ice tea, water, and or combinations there of, cover my fluid recs. Water quality wise, a short write up on the topic with link to the 10 stage water filter I use HERE

Yes Cl2 is chlorine. Sorry I'm in municiple water so I use that a lot.

I drank over a gal a day of city tap water for well over 13 years before my wife decided we had to buy a water softener and reverse osmosis last year.

I have heard RO water can draw minerals out of your system as it contains none. I used to drink nothing but RO water ( when I drank water ) for years. I developed kidney stones after my late 50s. I can tell you one thing... if you ever find yourself with a kidney stone in a survival situation you are going to be in a very bad situation if it's not able to be passed, which many are not. My urologist says it's 90% hydration and he agrees, drink anything, but drink. I think the rule of thumb is don't let your pee get to where it's yellow. Something just more shaded than clear. If you plan your late night drinking even the next morning will still be very light but you won't have to get up in the middle of the night. It depends on your size but 8oz before you hit the sheets may be enough.

I've been trying to decide what sort of filter to buy next and figured I would get a Berky
