Wow... You would think that the dirty water filter was filtering lake water. Interesting, but Im not surprised. As most local water supplies are low quality. That was an interesting write up.

I keep a water bottle near me all day long and drink tons of water every day. Some bottled, some from the sink and some is mineral water like Pellegrino or Topo Chico.
I am big on sparkling mineral waters - buy them by the case. I probably down at least 2-3 bottles a day. I also bring a 32oz jug out on the tennis court and have a Camelback that I use on my mt. bike.
It is hot here...deathly hot and humid and yes...I am big on water/hydration. Gave up all soft drinks many years ago and I cannot tell you how that has helped my overall health.
If not water, I am drinking coffee or maybe a craft beer or two on the weekend. I rarely drink anything else.
I'm like a crack head on sweet TEA lolo
Down here in sc we love our sweet tea ICE COLD !!
I lost 57lbs in 6 months by just drinking water ONLY !!!
As soon as I start back on sugar in my coffe and tea I'll put it right back on.
As far as filter NOPE , we live 20 miles out in the high ground and we drink well water from a pump that's 215ft deep . Does that make it clean NO but it's good and it has no smell at all !!

I filter my water with coffee in the morning, a water filter in the afternoon, and I drink water filtered by Budweiser in the evening. So yes I drink water all day, and have a few filtering methods that work for me.
Its good to see many of yall focusing on your water. I see so many people who are struggling with nutrition drink soda after soda, among other things. And people who talk about striving to excel in sports, not give two cent's about their hydration and the quality there of.
The diet sodas are really no better.
I used to drink diet sodas and I swear they made me hungry and gave me headaches. After I gave them up...I feel tons better and would never go back to drinking them.
You almost never see thinner or fit people drinking diet sodas...there are reasons for that.
Most of these "energy drinks" and sports drinks are nothing but sugar....water is best if you ask me.
I'm fit, young, and healthy. I don't really give a **** about sugar or aspartame or anything.
That said, I was never the type to really drink tons of soda. I might have had 5 a week. Never
More than 10. But I did stop drinking soda/sugary drinks a year ago completely for the financial benefit. It's anywhere from $1.80-2.75 every time you eat out, plus $20 a month or something to stock the fridge. And I am a "light" soda drinker.
I don't miss it at all, but I do keep a case in the fridge most of the time. Sometimes you just want something to get a bad taste out of your mouth. But I bought a case of 12 about 2 weeks ago and I think I've had 3.
Why do the loudest do the least?
Diet soda's are still pretty bad. I do drink the occasional sugar-free energy drinks (Redbull or Rockstar) since its sugar free and zero carbs. Basically a bunch of caffeine, B-vitamins, and some chemicals.
I do drink plenty of water during the day. even at night I have a glass/bottle of water next to the bed.
Water (lots), black coffee, a few beers here and there, and the occassional coconut water are all I drink. I'd say 80% spring water and 20% unfiltered tap. Guess it's time to start looking at filters.

You really have to watch the coconut waters. Many are touting this as some sort of miracle hydration liquid but the labels I have read on many have them almost as chiock full of sugar as many soft drinks.
