I usually don't have my precision AR dialed into the bulls eye because I don't want to destroy my aiming point. I will give this a try this weekend.
actually it should be pretty easy. That is a pretty big target.

this is a range gun. I am shooting for groups. I don't want to destroy my aiming point with a ragged bullet hole.
Recently I glued the barrel extension into the receiver with locktite. This changed the barrel harmonics so much all my old loads were no longer accurate. I am having to rerun all my load development. The picture below shows a series of groups shot today with 69gr. MK and CFE223. Each group is 0.2 grs higher. As you can see one load stands out. If I were aiming at a group of bullet holes instead of the little red x my group would be larger.
Now I will load up 25 of this load and some others I have found over the last two weeks and shoot the MOA challenge. See if this is a fluke or real.
takes me one or two shots to zero to the bulls eye if I want.

Finally got out today to break in the barrel with some cheap AE XM193 and made two attempts on the quarter targets before the rain hit.
Never shot here before, should have brought a stool.
Benches too short for me and bolted down stools made it real short.
Now my excuses are out of the way
Pic of rifle and best 100 yd attempt.

Figured I would post the first attempt also with the Winchester match ammo.
