If the baffles are titanium then the omega will spark when fired at night with supersonic ammunition. It may even be visible during the day, depending on the baffle design.

Yep, SiCo CS rocks we know that, it's not news. Considering stamps for the Omega just started rolling in a little over a month ago this kind of thing is not a good sign and in fact a second poster in that same thread reported the baffle stack & tube separating on them at the range today, not good at all...
So, should we now add two threaded parts unscrewing to the great baffle material conspiracy? It isn't the baffle stack and tube separating, but rather the tube loosening off of the core. It could be as simple as a bad batch or improper application of Rocksett.

Which thread is that?

That is interesting. Why isn't the stack secured to the tube?

The baffle stack is fully welded inside the core. The tube slips over and screws onto the core. Most likely, they use Rocksett to keep these parts together, but this is all speculation. SilencerCo has not addressed the situation, but it doesn't seem overly complicated or alarming. If this were to happen to mine, I would secure it with Rocksett and carry on.

A fully welded stack shouldn't need a tube
