    I adjusted the 2nd stage pull up slightly. Right now I have it set at 3 + 1.75 totaling 4.75 and 3. I'm finding the Geissele spring weights vary quite a bit. I thought it may be an innacuracy in my gauge, but some are .25 lb lower and some are a full 1 lb higher than they're rated. So, if people are using the rated weights as a basis of comparison, that's taken with a grain of salt.

    i noticed the geissele weights do vary slightly as well. i have two SSAs which are .5 lbs different from each other, measured with a digital trigger pull gauge.

    Actually I had to edit my previous post after confirming some rated weights on Geissele.com. Some are even further off than I thought.

    Just out of curiosity, how much of a wall is there with a 3 position selector between the 2nd and 3rd position, I've never had the pleasure of handling a 3 position selector and want to know how much force is needed to go from 2nd to 3rd and if it is very low, is there someway to increase it like making the channel in the selector more shallow?

    Could you grind the tail off the SSF hammer and disconnect and be good per ATF, or is the 3 pos selector still a problem?

    Very interesting. I would love a SSA/S3G all in one trigger.

    Orange-fox it takes the same effort as it does to go from safe to semi or back.

    If I understand you correctly, modifying a SSF won't result in a trigger like this. This is a over simplification but...

    SSF = lighter take up, heavier break / heavier pull only

    SSA = lighter take up, heavier break
    Similar to the SSF in semi

    S3G = lighter pull only
    Unlike the SSF in auto

    My modified trigger = lighter take up, heavier break / lighter pull only

    This might explain the safety set up for my next start up rifle which will turn into a light build done by Spikes Tactical. On a new model just released a couple months ago that I'm excited about it has a 3 stage safety lever. Maybe they are predicting where the market might be going and hoping ATF will approve it without infringing on our rights. IF I'm following correctly with the installing of this G-trigger and modification this would allow single shot and 3 round burst??? If done I'll buy one yesterday. Hkbeltfed this could be a true gold mine for someone like you with the ability to do so.

    My Spikes build will be a no cost prohibited venture. I'm buying it because it's a local company to me and this rifle has special lettering on it that means a lot me personally. I don't work for company in any way but if you haven't seen it or heard of the public statement from a specific religion you need to check it out. I'm proud of them and have called and placed a order telling them that. Working from memory the new model is the Crusader.
