    CDM4-LE pics

    Written review based on initial inspection to follow later this weekend. Firing impressions to follow in the next week or so.

    WOW! great pictures... dumb question Rob. What makes this rifle a 'LE" model compared to the regular model??? I am going to buy another carbine this weekend, and am between the MP15 and the CD to compliment my LMT so I am interested in your test to, and may just wait until your review is posted. By the way thanks for sharing this with us. I know it is not cheap to do a test like this in time and money, and it seems you do it more for the forums than for personal reasons.

    The LE model has the 1:7 4150 barrel vs. the 1:9 4140 barrel of the standard model.

    Another small difference is that I think the D-M4LE has a milspec receiver extension with the h buffer and the D-M4 doesn't.

    Yep, you're right. I knew there was something else but I couldn't remember it.

    Very nice looking weapon! I noticed that C.D. is out of Harrisburg, PA , yet I have never seen one in person(and I live in Harrisburg)!
