Just finished season 2. Caught the short cameo of Pena and Murphy at bar.
Not sure why, but I love all these 80s drug stories real or fake, Narcos, Cocaine Cowboys, Vice, etc.

It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

I've got two Uncles that were in the Bar business. They started off buying Bar's and Clubs in South Florida around 1975. They specialized in renovating them, building the business up and then flipping them for a profit. I can only imagine the stories they have to tell, there might not be a better way to launder money.
My father decided it was time to leave FL for a bit when his favorite Cuban restaurant had multiple machine gun assassinations in a single year and it wasn't even June yet. Scarface wasn't really fiction, when Miami became the murder capital of the world in 1981 it was really just the beginning.

Bastard. Although I wasn't sure if you were implying that it was an LSD or a syphilis at first.

The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.
It's that simple.
I thought it was pretty good. I was in Colombia a few times during that period and enjoyed "getting" a few things that I think many Gringos probably didn't.
Afterward for about six months I really enjoyed spitting out the phrase in Spanish to my Spanish speaking circle, "¡¡Este puta de mierda Judi Moncada!!"
I thought it was cool that they featured Ojinaga, Chihuahua. Both of my parents are from the region, and know the story very, very well. Pablo Acosta ran the entire area back in the 80’s..
Amado Carrillo-Fuentes “El señor de los Cielos (The Lord of the Skies) also lived in OJ:
