Whoa. I did not expect that.... I must say... I'm about zero percent interested now.

When I first saw the pic I was thinking ok... an M&P with a barrel and a can built into a modified frame... Then I saw the action doesn't go back as far as an M&P and it looked like the chamber was never fully accessable... Then I saw it was non-servicable... Then I saw it's cut and welded... Then I saw it appears to be a non-browning action... Then I figured S&W is having a hard enough time with the M&P as is, what are the chances SiCo came in with a heavily modified version and improved reliability and accuracy while making it suppressed... And now I'm to understand this will eventually be an entire new handgun?? Everytime I see or read something about it I'm just getting more and more skeptical. At least when I thought it was an M&P I figured they could leverage some of the existing knowledge, parts, and resources S&W has.

No offense to anyone at SiCo, but I think you'd have to be a lunatic to line up for this as an early adopter.

Fine, those too. And if you really want to be particular about it, since the mounts are available separately unlike most other mfgs, Form1 cans as well.

Lol. I have a 14.5" pinned 308 barrel for LM8MWS. The extra 4 inches the Saker is rated to is much appreciated.

Are you concerned about durability? The Omega is full auto and magnum rated.

Are you just looking for a louder, heavier can than the Omega?

Even the full sized Saker can't compete.
I don't have a problem using a 762 Specwar or Omega on an MWS chassis with a 16-20" barrel. I want to get a 13.5" or 14.5" barrel, and will use a Saker for the warranty protection and extra durability. I may just get go ahead and get a Saker, but whether it is a K or full-size, I will use an ASR MAAD on it. My 556 Saker K has an ASR MAAD on it 90% of the time. I don't, however, run facial or neck hair.

This, I bought my first Saker early on before all the Trifecta hate. I would have no problem using the ASR mount if I wasn't so heavily invested in the Trifecta MAAD system.

Oh well. No Saker K, I'll just buy another Surefire or try the new TBAC Ultra series.

So now that you have read the write up of the first night and absorbed all the details of the new products; I'll get into the shenanigans of the day spent on the water yesterday!

I sometimes call upon The Tactical Nomad to help me on large scale events and reviews. I'm glad I tasked him to join me on this one!

I, along with half of the other guests aboard joined the ‪#‎maximviceportsiders‬ club early on and never recovered. Never-the-less he came through and got the shots needed so I can edit a video for you all! We hope to have it done by Friday!

It was a fun two days, very organized and revealed some very cool products that I'm eager to get my hands on to review!

I thank you all for your continued support and for subscribing on YouTube!

    Enjoy these pics from yesterday!

Looks to me like nothing above the frame on the Maxim was sourced from S&W, with the possible exception of the barrel?

Care to comment on the weight and balance?
