I can see Trump and Putin in a bar right now. "Vlad, you think that chick has a nice azz?"

Let me put it this way: who do you want dealing with our enemies, an assertive alpha male or an effeminate milquetoast?
(Guess which one we have now).
And....
If Hillary does the dealing, it's going to be "Pony up the cash, boys, and you can have whatever you want."

“Those who do not view armed self defense as a basic human right, ignore the mass graves of those who died on their knees at the hands of tyrants.”
More Hawkish than "I'm drawing a red line in the sand Berry?" Really, I think you're confusing being totally incompetent with being a Leader.
I don't think this current administration has the wherewithal to pull it off because they don't want to take any direct action that would insult some of the muslims in the region.
Obama at this point just wants to help Hillary and skate without being tied to any more of her gaffs, the e-mail stuff coming out shows he was talking to her on the same server and e-mail address that has been in question now for well over a year and a half.
Hillary hasn't shown that she could be "Hawkish" and pull it off and it's not like her Husband was able to either and I'm guessing He's going to be on her White house Staff. So if She does get us in some Military Action, I don't have the confidence that the "Leadership" Obama has put in place could win anythings for us, but they could well blunder their way in to an exchange of nukes with Russia.
I have more confidence that Trump could put together a cabinet, make some real and effective Leadership changes in the Military and build them back up to a fighting force that is ready and effective.
It's not the wars you win that count, it's the ones you are well prepared for and can sit down and negotiate from a position of power and avoid fighting that are true "wins for the team".
I'm not sure how close you are to the military right now, but honestly we're kind of sucking in the readiness department from my perspective.
Edit, Redaction:
In the spirit of not wanting to make this place seem like Arfcom or infowars, and by my own volition with no direct request; I have opted to tone down some of my very honest anger in my rhetoric.
"Don't start nothing, won't be nothing" still applies, of course.
Unlawful decrees and laws can easily be passed and then they can force the poor joe on the street to enforce it, go to jail, or be ruined.
Total bitch move by people who have others doing the fighting for them and are protected. That I DO want anyone and everyone of 'authority' to read 100 times twice.
You can pass all the stupid laws you want, but you'll always get someone else to get hurt or worse enforcing them. Same with your military ventures.
If I were a parent, I would NOT want my child dying for someone else's ego or pride. A lot of people are more disillusioned than before. They don't feel heard, and wose yet, they do not feel respected.
Any attempts to disarm or limit, is usually done not out of concern for public safety, but out of fear of disobedience.
I, personally, am at a point where I don't care.
Not in an apathetic, six pack and American Idol way. But in a more dysthymic, ennui. Like, any effort to put forth faith and confidence in the public is undermined.
If the Head of the FBI is playing by good ol' boy rules, then how can anyone trust me? And I'm nobody. No Ivy League, no internship at a high fallutin' deal, no big money banging at my door.
I'm just another dumbass who thought he was actually part of the solution.
But, I played it tough yet fair. Always erred on the side of "people first". I know I am not the only one.
I know what others only fear: I am just a name and a number. My vote don't count and my ideas are mental masturbation.
So...Lester Burnham like a mofo.
I think if one were to ask me "Will you comply?"
I would have to ask, "I dunno. Are you going to pass a law?"
Non-issues should stay non-issues.
My greatest hope at this point is that whomever gets elected just does their time, gets their pension, and then leaves office and goes the hell away. I have no hopes of personal or national improvement.
Status Quo if we can't have it more free.
I aint young and I aint old. In 20 years, if I am still on this planet. These people will be as relevant as Carter and Johnson. More yuppie polutical types people bring up when referencing the era like an "I love the (whatever decade)" show.
Or, I may just pull a Tupac and move to Cuba living on wine and love.
Most likely you shall find me with Euro and Outlander behind some haji shop shooting dice, wearing sweats and flip flops, catcalling women who think we are just weirdo busters, smoking black and milds, drinking vodka and OJ, and discussing minor topics of the day in a manner resembling ghetto, jive, valleygirl, and hillbilly.
Probably a more plausible and rewarding course of action than rising with Robert E. Lee for three years thereabout, getting wounded in four places, and starving at Point Lookout.

@Firefly: we aren't we BFFs!????
Hillary wins...well just rip the band aid off and let the Balkanization games begin. I'm looking forward to a more representative government. Balkanization of USA can be a good thing, it will be good for the markets, good for business - so those who are worried about such a scenario - don't be! It can be like living in Europe - only we'll all speak English. Well, if you've ever been to the Deep South, or Boston, you can say that it's not easy to clearly understand native Americans from all parts of USA.
