Buy some Federal or Winchester, Remington, Black hills... and see if the problem still exists. All rifles gas systems are diffetent, even the exact same rifle from the same manufacturer all from tolerance acceptability. Even if you have no problem with PMC you might have found a rifle that does. Although you might be able to find a fix like different buffer or spring. But just check with some good ammo first. Again tgat will be the response from most manufacturers from the exact type of ammo you are using now.
I think you're right about the ammo and but I find it odd that it shoots PMC Bronze fine without the Warden attached.

I'll give it a run with some legit 5.56 Black Hills 70gr GMXs and see if I run into any issues.

Leave the H buffer in it and run some hotter ammo through it. Even just some cheap lake city XM193 will be hot enough to break the gun in well. If you are still having issues cycling the hotter ammo contact BCM.

I just cleaned it with some CLP and going to try again.

    Thanks for the inputs everyone.

+1 for lake city XM193 or M855 cheap and full powered with reliability.

I can't explain why it would with it off either. I'm hoping it just appeared that way because the ammo just meesed up at the right times to make it look that way. Either way I don't believe it has anything to do with the warden. It should not create back pressure. And that woukd be the only cause. Unless maybe your barrel nut is not on right and hanging something heavy on the end is causing issues but I highly dought that.

I ran 400 rounds of PMC bronze through my 10.3 with a Warden yesterday. 10.3 upper, DD barrel, H buffer. Ran like a champ.

just got back from the range and put about 200 rounds through it using Federal XM193.

Its nowhere near as bad as the PMC Bronze (FTE every 3-4 rounds) but I've had a few jams nevertheless (once every 60 rounds).

I'm going to try swapping out the "H" buffer to a Carbine buffer and see if that helps. I feel like this is the way to go with a mid-length gas system?

Ok. Here is the thing if by adding more pressure to the system made it better I really don't think it's the warden. I didn't in the first place but this conforms it. By the way what does your failure to eject look like?

looks like a double feed - the spent casing is still in the chamber while a new round is inserted.

    Short stroking?

That means your either not getting enough pressure or you have an extractor problem. The FTE you would get if you had more back pressure is a stove pipe style. The lighter buffer might fix the issue but for some reason you are not getting enough gas. This is deffinately not being caused by the Warden. If you grab your barrel and try to move it around while holding the rifle tight can you??

I think it's an extractor issue. Might be a weak spring. You could install a crane o-ring in it for better extraction. Did you change the buffer or did it come with the H?

the barrel is on there tight

I pieced together the lower from scratch so I went with the H buffer.

If he's not getting enough gas, how is the fresh round getting picked up? If the bcg goes back enough to grab a fresh round, the spent casing will be ejected unless there are extractor or ejector issues.

Fwiw, I've been watching a lot of these threads. I'd pay attention to mist wolf. He seems to have a knack for diagnosing issues via forum.

It also depends if the bolt is behind the new round or it scraped it up out of the mag.

I'm not sure how it happens to be honest but it happens. That is one of the causes of this issue. Underpowered ammo is a very big cause of this exact malfunction .The other is the extractor which I think it may be. I think a H buffer is fine for a midlength gas system or at least should work.
