Yes, that is the Trifecta MAAD. I'm not crazy about it, but I do use it on two rifle's. It hasn't gotten hung up on me yet (I use Fireclean on it), but I have said that I prefer the Specwar devices. I can do without the Saker Trifecta devices. I do, however, have an ASR MAAD and Trifecta MAAD so I am a bit indifferent. I'm won't be hurt if SilencerCo finally releases my 7.62 SakerK with an ASR MAAD instead of the Trifecta MAAD. They can even release on FB, Instagram, Twitter, and M4C that the Trifecta MAAD is deceased...or not. Doesn't matter to me.

Hmmmm. The more I investigate the more I only see 45-70. A lot of the 338 Lapua talk is from third party bloggers that posted on forums. All the print articles mention just the 45-70 (including Silencershop's blog).

45-70 is around 40,000 psi. 338 Lapua is around 62,000 psi...... a pretty big difference. I'm hoping the Hybrid is 338 Lapua compatible, but I wouldn't be shocked if it isn't. A 7.5" suppressor would be an awfully small for a 338 Lapua.

For reference my TBAC 338BA is over 10" long.

They're not going to say it, they're just going to keep putting out stuff in ASR (Specwar/ Omega) format.

Thanks for the reply. Those are the only sources I have been able to find as well. We can dream, I suppose.

I think I am. Want to use it on .458 socom and .338 federal and possibly Lapua in the future. I'm curious how well it will suppress the smaller caliber though, with baffles large enough to pass a .458

I like mine. It's hearing-safe-ish on a 16" 5.56...sounds like a regular .22. 300blk subs sounds pretty quiet, not quite .22 sub quiet but pretty decent. AK47 sounds like the 5.56, maybe a little louder. 300 blk supers sound the same as the AK. Haven't tried .308 and 6.5 Creedmore yet. 9mm subs and .22 subs sound pretty quiet. .45 cal and .40 cal sound about the same, decent but that big hole in the .46 end cap actually mics at .54 or so. Tighter tolerance end caps would make a difference. The baffles can't be removed so I'd suggest NOT shooting .22 rimfire through it but I've only done a few rounds here and there for comparison and followed it with a 5.56 round to break loose any rimfire crud. Using the ASR Muzzle Brake on the 300blk and the 6.5 Creedmore. ASR Flash hider on the 5.56. Direct thread on everything else. The ported .30 cal end cap quiets down the 7.62 and 5.56 better than the .46 end cap. 5.56 end cap makes a big difference from the .46 cap, and some difference from the .30 cal end cap.

Great comparison, thanks for taking the time.
