So.... This works on basically everything? Is it effective on anything?

    Almost everything, I guess...

It looks like they outdid Silencerco again, this time on the hybrid concept.

Adding .45 ACP to the "everything" degrades the effectiveness of the stack and makes things long and voluminous.

My guess is that this will hit at the same time as the hybrid, with a similar MSRP, and meter a little quieter on 9mm, .300BLK, 7.62x39/51, and 5.56.

    We will see.

I love to see new awesomeness and I love to see the bar raised. Also, kudos to Silencerco and Griffin for not following the stupid "all new products get released at SHOT" industry thing.

Of course this comes out right as my gen3 Recce 5 and Checkmate show up at my dealer...

I'm curious on the barrel lengths. I've read it is not full auto capable except in 9mm and 300blackout subsonic. I would hope it can go down to at least a 10" 5.56.

    That seems pretty nice.
Anyone knows what materials the tube and internals are made of?

I saw Griffin post this in their description...

Utilizing full 17-4 stainless construction with user adaptable components the Optimus in its full size standard configuration is a 9.4” 18.5 ounce, taper mounted 300 Winchester Magnum rated silencer.

I know their 3-lug mount is also 17-4 SS instead of aluminum.
