I would have personally preferred an updated version of the micro over this. I do like the moderator concept in general. When wearing hearing protection, what issues seem to be most prevalent? Size? Blast/concussion? etc?
Surefire and some others make good full size cans with smaller counterparts available. Would a third choice in suppression be out of the question? Depending on circumstances, I would prefer more options than fewer to better suit end use.

They do offer some choices, but not the moderator that compares to the micro.

There is no chamber like a bulgarian 4pc or the Noveske kx3- kx5 so I believe the ability to assist with back pressure for function on an SBr is not there. But when ur not using your can you can shoot and not feel like you are sparing mike tyson .

Meh. I just run a SF flash hider on my 2 primary rifles that share a SF SOCOM. I'm not worried about wearing out an $850 can that will cost me $10,000 in ammo (and probably take 20 years) to wear out. I'll just save that extra brake/warden money and put it towards a new can.

edit: OP, thanks for the review anyway. Regardless, i'd still be curious how it performs at night.

My friend just installed one, and it basically takes the muzzle blast down to an A-2 FH level. He is awaiting the funds to purchase a Can and set up a NFA trust, so in the interim his carbine doesn't ear nuke everyone on his right/left at the range, in a class, or when working barricades and shooting from cover. Seems like a legitimate reason to me, although I'm just going to wait till I have the dough set aside and buy everything all at once for my stick. To each their own.

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR BIG BOYS WITH THICK WALLETS WHO OWN SUREFIRE SUPPRESSORS.

if you do not own a supressor or intend to own 1, then I would suggest 1 of BCM's hybrid compensators.

This is a very simple subject. If you don't understand the necessity for this product on the market, don't buy it, but please keep your opinions to yourself.

LOL, No this is for people who cannot afford more cans. Its for people who want more stupid shit to tinker with or are on a budget but want to look like they have a can on their stick.

People with money and people who actually use their gear buy more suppressors. They buy the surefire mini, Dead air K, Mini4, TREK, TREK-T, Omega....They buy long ones and short ones and light ones and whatever they need for their specific purpose. Personally I buy cans and put them on and never shoot without them. No point in ever shooting unsuppressed. If I destroy one, ill buy another one or get it fixed.

No one with big wallets uses this. I doubt .gov does either. The guys I know use the mini cans and fullsize ones. Not some blast diverter to put on their muzzles when they dont want to get their one can dirty

First thing that came up when I googled "Surefire Warden Review".

Is this thread not useful anymore? has the warden changed? do they still make the warden?? Is there a better thread to read with more "new" info on the warden they make now thats different than two years ago??

The thread is still useful, unlike your comment that necro-bumped it.
