I think you are absolutely right! Not only will they protect the scum but probably try to take away either 1A rights using some sort of hate speech clause or 2A rights. It is so frustrating that the ruling elites in both Europe and U.S. helped create this terrorism problem by actively importing large numbers of young Muslim men.
