Thank You as always.
That is dang good performance for its price point.

glad to see its fairly effective ammo, too bad my only 762 doesnt care for the SP's too much. the nose hangs up on feeding sometimes.

Fusion is the best performing round I've tested so far in 7.62x39mm. it is a soft point, but the nose is narrow and there is little exposed lead. That might work for you. If not, SST (Zombiemax) is a close second, but probably not as barrier blind.

that is exactly where in went with SD 762 ammo, found some hornady SST ammo. cycles perfect.

Good to hear. Did you see my gel test for SST?
-
i have but i bought the ammo before i came here.

wow
looks like a good sd round,2523 fps from a 16" thats moving for 125 grain ammo.
thanks for the time and effort you put into these interesting test's.

My pleasure. Thanks for watching. Please note that I often get velocities that are a bit higher than what other people see because I test in AZ. Higher temperatures often result in higher velocity. I even thought my chronograph could be out of calibration so I tested it by shooting through mine and my friend's at the same time. It turned out that my chrono was actually reading about 30-40 fps slower than his.
