I sold 12 windowed Pmags for $600 shipped.
I sold 1 spikes lower for $500 locally.

Ended up getting 2 G19's for 12 mags and a cheap stripped lower.

I was. It's no secret that top brands bring in a higher dollar value than the lower brands. To maximize resale, the big names are the way to go. I'm pretty sure you know that though.

Like I said, it's not impossible, as there are many tards out there, just less likely.

I should also clarify, it's also not necessarily top brands that bring in higher dollars, it's also the more popular brands that the uneducated have heard of. They'll over pay for a Bushmaster before a brand that they've never heard of.
We take for granted the knowledge of the average M4C member when the general public public is well below our lowest denominator.

Yeah you never know what will happen during a panic, it's crazy.
And yes Ryno I know who Lorenzo is and it would be wise of you to remove him from your avatar, spies is alright just because he's an American, awesome 09 WSBK season for sure.

I only chose it because their plates total the number 12. Kinda of a play on my name. And I used to compete against Ben years ago.

    Anyway, back to lowers...

I would agree with that on a per piece basis, but the fact is that you can buy two or three times the number of lesser brand lowers than high end lowers. I'd bet that Anderson, Bushmaster and Aero Precision lowers purchased right now would net the highest return on investment in a future buying panic situation. I have a few of each stashed, but hopefully won't see that opportunity.

I love the fact that there are millions of ARs out there.

The Genie is already out of the bottle. There is no f'ing way the Genie's going back into the bottle. No amount of hot lead can make it happen.

This is mine line of thinking.

During a panic It's much easier to sell a $50 quality, correctly spec'ed stripped lower for $300, than it is to sell a $200 Noveske lower for $1200.
I learned that after sandy hook. I was willing to move 1 lower and some mags. Had a $500 offer for a cheap spikes lower, and a guy offering $700 for a gen 2 Noveske lower.
    I sold the spikes lower.

I don't have a lot of experience with this subject, but I can tell you that Anderson Lowers are not even the least bit impressive to behold. Haven't built one up, I'm sure they work, but they look and feel cheap.

I used to buy cheap lowers but to many are not to spec. Sometimes mags fit to tight. It's just not the place to save 40 or 50 bucks. Spend a few more dollars and get something you will be proud to own.
