If this thread is in poor taste, I'm fine if the mods nuke it.

You asked a legit question and with no malice, I can't see that as in poor taste at all. I don't think anything was intentional or with malice, my comment hopefully didn't insinuate that. While it does happen, I can't see that here, especially not with Mike P.

I really wish Colt would...innn...innnnnn....innoovvvv....oh god. This is difficult to say in the same sentence...INNOVATE!

Centurion rail? Really? Not that the rail isn't awesome, but c'mon! Make/design your own damn rail. I really wish Colt would make something of their own since they are branching out like this.

Not so long ago, Colt was T&E'ing Rubber City Armory BCG's for crying out loud. It seems if it's not military-issue, Colt just pirates the rest of the market.

I'd love an actual Colt middy with Colt innovation.

Eh. Centurion has a great reputation and there are so many companies doing big things with rails, I can see why they they wouldn't. Especially if it helps keep the cost down.

This does bring me hope though. New rifles mean new pistols may be more likely. I want my damn 9mm Rail Gun.

Every other company has designed their own rail.

    Daniel Defense
    Centurion
    Hodge Defense
    KAC
    Midwest
    American Defense

I mean, I could go on...

I'd just like to see Colt inventing stuff vs. raiding parts bins. I guess I like ingenuity and new ideas?

If there are dozens of great solutions already out, why waste the time and energy? Just to say they've created their own rail?
