You're comparing street price to msrp so add $80 to the 6720 price and you'll close the gap more.

Huh? The 6720 is $900 from Grant. The 6960 is listed as a Talo exclusive, so I doubt it's going to go for much less (if any) than MSRP. Where is your $80 coming from? Regardless, I'm failing to see why this 6960 is set at the price point it is. I can get a comparable BCM for this price, and fit/finish will be nicer.
Msrp of 6720 is $979 ($80 more than you're saying) msrp. I have already seen dealers listing the 6960 is the 1190s.
You're comparing street price of accessories and base gun to msrp of another gun which isn't fair.
Also even if it ends of being $100 more there's some value in not having to f*** with a gun after you get it for some people (me)
ETA: also resale will be better on a factory gun

I think the CCU rail gun is also a talo thing but they still come in under msrp.
Is it confirmed that it's a lightweight barrel?

Never owned a midlength 5.56.
Too bad it's a pencil barrel.
It's almost like TOS...
If you don't like the price move on. Let's stay focused on the topic.
