    Certainly billet vs forged.

    Yeah, that's nuts.

$234 for complete blem BCM lowers was the deal of the century at G&R.

Aero lowers are $65 at Brownells right now too.

300 for just a lower? People have lost their damn minds. Only stripped lower worth that (and far more) would be a civvy transferable full auto

I built a mega that had a set screw to tighten up the upper/lower fit. I haven't seen much different unless we are talking special lowers like KAC and all that stuff. I just use forged ones I can find. Usually they are about $100.
Don't believe a word I say; I took a solid hit to the head and I'm a murse.

That wouldn't be a stripped lower, now would it?

$300 is usually a complete lower; I wouldn't pay that or a stripped.

A complete top notch lower will be made with correct materials, to correct dimensions, and assembled correctly. It may also have an extra flared magwell, etc.

Get a sub par company and your risk Increases. That said, more expensive isnt always better. Exceptions do exist.

From what I've read, billed doesn't offer any benefits, other than subjustive asthetics.

No particular reason someone couldn't sell a transferable without all the other kit. A FA M-16 has a lower that can be stripped just like an AR does....

Jack Skull Lower was something like $280 at a recent gun show.
