Currently have:
1) AR-10 Style 308: Daniel Defense DD5V1 (scoped for longer distances)
2) AR Pistol/SBR 300 Blackout: Spikes Tactical Lower & Upper with Troy hand guard (currently with a scope, but going with a Lucid HD7 Red-dot, and currently saving for a suppressor)
3) _______________________________
(also have a few nice O/Us and a Sig P229 Elite.
Of course I'd love to have a much larger arsenal than 3 ARs (one day), but I'm only 27 now and can't afford but maybe one more in the next 2-3 months. I am leaning towards a nice middle ground of my set and towards a 5.56 mid-length. Something that can reach out and touch a decent range that doesn't require me to shoot 308 as much ($!) and on the higher end, while not breaking the bank. Also, something that can fit the eventual 7.62 suppressor I'm going to have (so it can work on all three). My top 3: a) DD m4V11 (approx. $1,600); b) SCAR 5.56 ($2,300??); or c) a custom build piecing together everything.
If DD is the way to go, what are the key differences why(or why not) the DDM4v11 is the best option.
If SCAR is the way to go, why is it preferable vs the DD/build options given its premium price
If I can get a comparable quality product from a build, whats the best way to do this?
Thanks in advance!
