I like the Larue LT-606 offset mount myself.

Who has the VLTOR for a decent price?
If you aren't armed when you take a dump in your own home then your opinion on what is a practical daily carry weapon isn't interesting to me.

I use the Viking Tactics (VTAC) mount. For $20, I think it's unbeatable.

The Hahn Precision 12 o'clock mount
If it isn't durable, it isn't reliable.

I like the VTAC too, but my next will probably be the VLTOR offset.

I've been using the Daniel Defense Offset, but after trying out my friend's VTAC plastic mount, I reconsidered the mount. The DD is built like a tank but the offset puts the light further away from the handguard. The VTAC tucks in the light closer and lets you operate the button on the light whether you use a VFG or not. I like the price on the VTAC ($20) but doesn't care about the two hex screws that require allen wrench to secure. The VLTOR's new offset mount appeared to put the light in about the same location as the VTAC. So I placed an order with Grant and I was pleasantly surprised at how secure and robust the VLTOR offset mount is. I really like it a lot. Mount on top of the rail, and place the light at around 10-11 o'clock position, it's ideal for my thumb using the high hold on the VFG.
