Are you guys shooting 5 shot groups, or the more relevant 10 shot groups?

I used to shoot 5 shot groups, but recently started running 10 round groups when possible. The increased round count in the larger group is far more likely to display the true full range of variances in the barrel/ammo combination. If you really want to know just how far any given round from a particular type of ammo will deviate from POA you need to shoot groups with higher round counts.

I've heard people say that however I feel 10rd groups simply increase focus on the shooter and not the equipment.

You have to have good technique, and mine's not perfect admittedly, but it's not impossible. If your goal is to rule out shooter error, then by your logic you may as well shoot a 2 round group since there are fewer opportunities for the shooter to screw up. Or use a machine rest.

I generally shoot 5 round groups. Worst case you can always overlay in an image editor to give you a sense of what's going on.
