Does Colt make a lower with integrated trigger gaurd?

I was at the gun show yesterday and one of the vendors the had a couple of Colt stripped lowers that had the built in/machined trigger guard. I believe the rollmark said " Colt Sporter" on it but I didn't see a model designation like say 6920 for instance. Wanted $149 ea. Are these legit? Thought about picking one up to replace the DPMS lower on my M4gery but didn't 'cause I didn't know if it was really a Colt.

P.S. The lower is the only DPMS part on the gun and I like the rollmark just not the negative stigma that goes along with it.

Probably a Colt branded Anderson. I have a Colt 6900, built by Anderson that has an integrated trigger guard. It's an ok lower. But the roll make looks goofy compared to a real one IMO.

Hmm. They also had a few Anderson's for $49 apiece.

I just sold one of these...it was a LE6900 "lightweight". Was a colts mfg, Hartford gun...not a colt Defense gun.

Did it have a small knurled FF tube?

It was a stripped lower only.

    No.
Colt has never sold a stripped lower.
Any real Colt stripped lower you see for sale originally came from a complete gun.

Plus a real Colt stripped lower would be more than $300

Fake markings on a lower? That would be quite illegal so I doubt it's fake.

You sure about that? I've purchased real Colt, never assembled, stripped lowers from SAW, that were sealed in factory bags.

    But yeah, they're not cheap.

FWIW, there are several dealers in GB who part out Colt rifles fairly regularly. The going rate for stripped lowers seems to be about $300-$320 or so. 6920, 6721, and a few other variants on there right now.
