    Exquisite piece !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure makes me wish I had bought the one I had access to about 20 years ago, condition was almost identical [but w/o scope]. At the time it was more than I wanted to pay...hindsight of course, tells me I should have gotten it.

    Nicely done.....superb weapon!

As soon as the monsoon here stops, I'll have to take the manuals outside and take a good picture of them.

I was handling the SP-1 again last night, and it's just amazing how light these things are without a whole bunch of stuff on them.

I have a new Colt M16A1 upper that I think I'm going to put on a NDS retro A1 lower to have as a shooter.

Here's some really old school cool.

One of the local LE Agencies contracted me to work on their 'free' Gov't M16s. It hurt me to 'modify' these GMs.

I was issued one of those by the USMC back in the early 80's...love the A1.

I haven't taken her out to the range yet......

I will, if only to put 20 rounds of 1972 USGI M193 through her.

    Thumbs up

Classic ordnance! You GOTTA post a closeup of the "Mattel" markings on the buttstock though (or was yours made BEFORE that, even?)!
