In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.
"I have never heard anyone say after a firefight that I wish that I had not taken so much ammo.", ME
"Texas can make it without the United States, but the United States can't make it without Texas !", General Sam Houston
The CMR needs a lower profile (MK12) type gas block. You can shop and grind an FSB (I did it originally on mine until I reconfigured) but it must be done correct and all the fat trimmed.
I would wait until after SHOT to do anything and would be looking at the CMR- MLOK or maybe KeyMod version when they are released.

A few other people mentioned the M Lok as well. I'll check them out for sure.
Ya as far as the gas block, the Gas tube is always the same height, the low pro block from the Kino etc, that's why I was confused on a couple posts I read about it not fitting.
The Troy Alpha I ran on my 11.5" had quite a bit of room after I chopped that up. I just go slow and keep checking. Thanks for the replies everyone
