I don't know what they have sitting in the arms room. But I do know all the good guns are taken or desired by generals and the so called elite units here.

So I thought why not ask for an old full sized M16 that nobody wants. I can then bring in uppers and parts and build it into what I need. The only problem is trying to get a PDW that can be carried covertly.

Check out the endo stock adapter for the full frame gen3 glocks. Combined with the red dot, it would check all your boxes except the sbr legality issue.

People need to read the thread, he stated he can get an M16 lower from the armory and 9mm over the counter. He is trying to get as much utility out of the limited resources available. Suggesting other weapons does nothing for him.

no such thing as SBR here and full auto switch for Glocks are sold over the counter if you should happen to want such a thing.

How are these directions for the endo stock adapter faster than unfolding a law tactical stock and racking a round into chamber, I will bet I could put a lower and upper together faster than I can attach the stock on the Glock

Attaching the adapter to the Glock

Double check that gun is unloaded

Remove detent pin from the hole in the adapter insert

Insert the pointed end of the adapter into the corresponding hole (behind the magwell) in the backstrap of the Glock

Push up on the adapter until it hits the crest on the top of the grip

Pull the upper brace of adapter around the crest of the grip, allowing it to fit into place

Firmly push bottom of adapter so that the hole in the backstrap of the Glock lines up with the hole in the adapter

While maintaining pressure on the bottom of the adapter, insert the detent pin (using a twisting motion) through the hole in the backstrap of the Glock and through the adapter

The fit is meant to be tight, so this may take some effort!

You're ready to rock & roll

Hey man, just working with whats offered. Sounds like your minds already set. Let me know if you need help with a parts list.

Just don't shoot 22lr through your uppers.

One of the things that living and fighting in Israel taught me is that there is a place for a PDW or submachine gun in some situations.

On duty in covert operations they have a place and also in fighting in tight quarters.

Off duty they can be carried covertly but used to better effect than a pistol. I have had several times where I used my micro Uzi off duty, where a Commando would not have worked as well and it may even have got me killed.

So I believe in the 9mm shoulder fired carbines or submachine guns.

    Has to be a way to make a 9mm M16 work 100%

My mind is not made up.

I am stressing the 9mm M16 because if it can be made to run 100% it would be great. If it wears parts faster so what new parts can be bought. But it has to work 100%

In 5.56 I will get 2 uppers a 11.5" and have the full sized upper I get issued I was thinking of shooting the 22 through the full sized and make it 22 only.

Guys be glad in the USA we can still buy the guns that meet our needs.

Welcome to the hell the rest of the world has to go through. Look a lot of places you could even have the options I have here.

If I could I would bring either MP5k or mini Uzi here and AR15 with several different uppers, plus a couple of pistols.

The only way you can get a 9MM AR/M16 to run close to 100% is to actually find what type of ammo it likes. Federal 9BP was a great round because it was a hollow point and fed well in Colt 9MM sub guns. It was not the best performing ammo though. You would need a high quality drop in mag well which would require you to remove the bolt release every time you wanted to switch it out to and from 5.56. The best option I could think of would cost you a bit of cash and someone who knows their way around a mill.
We recently built this PDW and put a lot of time modifying the 9MM BCG to work in this stock set up. The 9MM BCG is designed to work with any hammer so this Geissele trigger would not have to be switched out. We sell this rifle for $1900 and it includes the 5.56 BCG. You would need a 5.56 upper and that's it....

    Cory,

what is the length of that gun.

Ammo I have no issues with even using hot ball if the gun will function.

If you are okay with not having the last shot bolt hold open you could ditch the catch completly and it would be much easier converting the lower back and forth between 5.56 and 9mm.

My AR is the only carbine i own that even has LSBHO so personally i wouldnt miss it much.
