    BCM Trigger (new?)

Just saw this trigger referenced in another post about the possible new BMC Stock:

    http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-P...cm-pnt-ta1.htm

So does anyone have one? I was wondering if anyone could compare it to an ALG ACT as far as break, creep, grittiness, etc.... Need a trigger for a future build and was planning on buying another ACT...

Thanks much, and Merry Christmas Y'all!

A customer brought a complete BCM 300blk into the shop 2 days ago and it had this trigger. I played with it a bit and it felt the same as my ACT - takeup, break feel/weight, reset. Put me in a dark room and hand me both and I wouldn't be able to tell which was which.

    Thanks JHR,

I'm a fan of the ACT's, but also a BCM fan, so this gives me another good option. Thank much for the feedback, and Merry Christmas!

    BCM Trigger (new?)

I recently handled a new BCM complete lower and instantly noticed how great the trigger felt. Both my brother and I were pleasantly surprised. This explains it.

Felt similar to the ACT but a little lighter with a nice crisp break.

I recently bought 2 BCM lowers during a Primary Arms sale. On the lowers, I noticed that the trigger contact points were greased. Something I had not noticed on other BCM lowers I've purchased in the past. The trigger also felt way better than any other standard trigger I've felt in a BCM lower. But they did not have the nickel finish that is shown on the PNT trigger assemblies. I'm wondering if they are shipping a hybrid of the two? Or are the triggers only being shipped with full rifles and not in complete lowers?

Would love to see the measured pull weight on these... Or a few for an average...

I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment. I got my Black Friday deal lower in from G&R and it was also greased up. The trigger definitely felt really nice compared to the other mil spec triggers I've tried. I'm not a fan of single stage triggers otherwise I'd keep it and run it as-is.

I experienced the same with a lower I bought from G&R back in October. I was surprised how nice the trigger was. I put an ACT on a different lower and compared the two, the ACT had a little less takeup, almost none, so I just swapped it out with the ACT.
It is from the construction of underground FEMA camps. I can't say more because there a guy parked in front of house in an AMC Pacer. He is acting like he talking on the phone, but I know better.

I have to sign off now & put my laptop in the microwave.

Just checked my non cosmo lower from G&R black Friday - has the the white shit on it and trigger is indeed very nice. Cosmo lower from primary arms from October-ish does not have it. Trigger is OK though.

Glad bcm is upgrading the triggers - picked up about 4 over complete lowers over the past year and the triggers have been overall gritty with a shit ton of creep - my PSAs were noticeably better.
