I have had the same experience, and feel the exact same way. Once you use a Bobro you'll see what the other mounts lack. In my experience, Larue's need to be torqued way the **** down (basically making QD impossible) in order to keep them from loosening up over time and maintaining zero.

A Bobro is rock solid and stupidly simple. If you gave me a Larue or ADM mount, I'd use it. But I won't go out and buy one anymore.

Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

    Bobro.

Ive got a Larue from 08 when they were basically the only game in town. Its ok, but I wont buy any more.

Ive got 4 Bobro's(2x aimpoint micro and 2x 30mm scope) and as long as they offer what I am looking for, they will get my business going forward.

I've got larue Bacause it was the cheapest of the 3. It's held zero so far. Based on reviews, bobro is best, but honestly, I think if you got the best deal of any of the 3 you'd be happy. If money is no problem, I'd go bobro cause everyone that used all 3 seems to say they prefer it.

I've got Larue and GDW both are good. I've never had an issue with the stock Aimpoint mount on my 68 or my PRO either.

Midwest Industries came out with just a QD base, and you can keep your current spacer. The MI-QDAPM has a price point of $75.00 which is about half the cost of what the others go for.

I have used GDI, Bobro, and LaRue. Like others have said, Bobro is the way to go. I have never used ADM, but their design appears to be much better than LaRues. I wouldn't hesitate to use Bobro, GDI or ADM, but I won't use a LaRue mount for many reasons.

I find the LaRue to have the smallest amount of contact on the clamping surface. Contact=Strength.

Though I have not used other brands, I will say that I have never felt that my LaRue mounts were somehow less effective than advertised.

I have two LT mounts under AimPoints, one under a NF 2.5-10 and one under a Steiner 5-25. All four have been taken off the guns during cleaning, all four have gone right back to zero when reinstalled with no impact shift noticed by me. None have loosened up, none needed readjustment after initial instal.

I'm not saying the other guys don't do it just as well or better since I have not used them, just saying that the LT mounts I have do it very well.
