Listed right here on the website:

They are good to go. I returned a pistol cleaning kit that I accidentally ordered two of. Called in, and a nice lady was really helpful. They set a very high bar for customer service.

That Obsidian Arms punch set is sold through Brownells. As far as the Starrett punch set goes I'd probably buy it from Amazon over Brownells, especially if I was not already buying something else from Brownells, because it is $12 cheaper w/ free shipping and because I am comfortable with Starrett quality that I wouldn't be concerned with the need to return it anytime soon.

No hassle, no problem. And, we won’t bog you down in endless paperwork. Your complete satisfaction with each and every product we sell is what’s most important to us.

I know Snap-On (used to, not sure now) and Craftsman (another not sure now) specifically said if it broke they would replace it - both of those companies have replaced sockets for me that were used and abused until they broke - impact usage when the impact socket was misplaced, big cheater bars, etc.

Brownell's says 'your satisfaction is guaranteeed' to my thinking that doesn't necessarily mean the same thing as 'you break it we will replace it', that is why I was asking if they will refund on broken or bent punches, which can easily occur through improper use.

Just want to be sure. Hey, never mind, I'll call them. (we need a slap your own face emoticon)

LOL - if that's the worst thing that happened here all day, we are doing all right. No self-slap necessary.

I have always had good service from them, I'd bet they take care of you if you ever have a problem.

For OP who thinks $45 is too high, the Brownells set would be ideal. Starret is out of his price range. And honestly if price is that much of an issue, I would reckon he would be just as satisfied with Brownells' punches.

Take a guess how many 1/16 punches I go through in a year? Or bits for my Magnatip driver? Last time I sent them stuff, it was about 300.00 dollars with give or take.

They never questioned me at all. I have been dealing with them for about 15 years now. For what I do, it's a no brainer.

I bet more than a few with what you do. Even with my minimal work I keep multiples of 1/16 and 3/32 punches on hand.

Out of curiosity, do you use starter punches with the shorter shafts to get the pins moving before switch to a regular punch?

I use roll pin holders first. Once the punch bottoms out, I finish it with the roll pin punch.
