Great decision. Nothing worse than buyers regret. And by going with a 6920 you know you got it right.

Agreed, just picked up my 6920 last Tuesday at my LGS

And they are scarce due to the San Bernardino attack.

Almost all online retailers are out of stock as well as Grant.

Yep. 60-90 day backorder is what I was told. Oh well, based on the comments, I'll gladly wait on the Colt.

That sucks, but at least you made the right choice. You won't regret the decision

Did you order it and lock in a price or are you waiting for the new stock to come in and purchase it at the going rate?

I locked in the price with the order. I anticipate the price on all mag-fed rifles will go up considerably given the political climate and proposed laws.

You did very well HanYolo, if I were you I'd also accumulate some magazines, and some ammo. You don't have to go apeshit, but it's not a bad idea to have a cushion on hand.

Might also be an opportune time to lay in some common spare parts in advance. Not saying you'll need them, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared to fix small stuff on your own to keep the gun up and running.

    On it. I was quoted:

    Federal XM193 5.56 55 grain FMJ for $199.06 / 500
Magpul Gen 3 PMAGS, 30rd, no window for $11.17 / ea.

Sound reasonable? I can also get the Federal AE223 55 grain FMJ at the same price. Any better deals out there? Thanks.

If you shop around you should be able to get M193, be it federal or other brands, for ~$330 shipped for 1,000 rounds.
The Pmags aren't too bad of a price, though on sale you might be able to get things a little cheaper.
