    New 45 suppressor released today!

Thats right! Rugged Suppressors just announced their first centerfire pistol suppressor today and they're already shipping to dealers. I already have the review done for you as well! I must say this is one impressive and beautifully machined suppressor. I cover everything you need to know in the review and nothing you don't. My goal with these review videos is to help you all make an educated decision quickly and concisely. A short, fat free review you can fit into your busy day to day activities. With that said, enjoy the video!

This has my interests piqued since I am ready to get my first pistol can but want to wait and see what Dead Air has up their sleeve. It will be a tough call.

You mentioned a built-in 3-lug mount on the can. How would that work?

My primary uses would be on a G19, Sig P226 and MPX (likely with 3-lug mount).

Rugged said the 3-lug mount is in the works. Not sure how that would be considered built-in.

As info...the Obsidian can also use SiCo pistons. The Rugged versions are non-vented, and thus should have less gas blowback. Using the SiCo pistons will work, just possibly with a little more blowback.

Ah, gotcha. I must have misunderstood what Fireman said in his video. Thanks for the clarification.

Looks nearly identical to my Octane 45HD.

I wasn't sure what he said, as I've only watched the short video from Rugged. I'll watch the other one later.

One of the marketing guys posted a little info on ARFCOM, which is where I saw the 3-lug mentioned and the discussion about piston compatibility with SiCo.

Both video links are at the top of the thread in post #1.

The 3-lug is internal mounted. It doesn't add any external length.

Yeah, I've got the link. Even posted it in the other thread. Just have t taken the time to watch it.

Guess you'd said internal instead of integral. So, it's more like the Revolution than the Octane.
