    ETS AR Mags

Obtained two Elite Tactical Systems 30 round, snap together AR/M4 mags awhile back, loaded them, and waited for a chance to hit the range, which came yesterday.
These mags are unique, very well made, & have several very nice, useful features, the snap-together feature being one I really like. You can check out all the listed features on their web page.
Bottom line: THEY WORK, & WORK WELL! Did many tests for bolt lock back-100%
Loaded very easily, very grippy & easy to load with cold hands/fingers.
These are 100% USA MADE in Knoxville TN. I like them, and also tested a couple of their Glock mags...write up in the appropriate forum on those.
If you like clear mags..these will tickle you to death. About $19..give or take a couple bucks depending on where you get them.
EDIT: BOTACH has them for $15.

Way too much $$$ for unproven plastic magazines. In that price range both Lancer and TangoDown are vetted.

    GH41-
Brother..buy with your money whatever you like. Ill bet you said the same thing when Lancer & TangoDown mags came out.
If you cant afford them..PSA has D&H for $6-$8 or so. All I did was give an opinion on them that I like them thus far.
Leave en alone, or get some some and vet them yourself, or whatever. Is getting so a man cant say anything here without some sort of unnecessary negative comments. Shit, lets just stick to what we,ve got now, and nobody try nothing else.
BTW...I own and use several Lancer mags & I like them just fine. IMO, the ETS mags are better. By a good bit.

The "better than Lancers" statement is an interesting one. One of the few things that I like about the Lancers are the metal inserts at the top of the mags. These are similarly priced, but without the reenforcement at the top, which makes me hesitant to give them a shot over "known good" mags.

I have no doubt that at some point I will probably end up with a gift card that I can use on these, so I will still probably give them a shot. The integrated mag coupler is a neat feature that I will not be able to ignore just out of natural curiosity.

The metal lips are a great feature of the Lancers, no doubt. I have emailed ETS about the lack of metal in the lips..they said it is completely un-needed and that they have mags with many thousands of rounds on them that are showing no sign at all of wear.
Again..my testing aint scientific, I did all I could/can do, and that's load them over & over again. They are loaded now, awaiting another range trip soon. Once youve held them in your hands, I think you may have the same impression of them..but, maybe not.

I like lancer mags also except they are loud if hit against something or if they aren't loaded they rattle in my experience. Hard to beat a good ole Magpul in the end...

I like them, except the follower's simulated cartridge is on the left hand side, unlike most AR mags

Same side as all g.i. mags for almost 7 years now.

    Total non-issue.

Not necessarily. I do not do press checks. Every mag I own has the dummy round on the right side. That means I get the same result everytime and all mags are loaded the same way. It's also a reason I won't buy those new GI mags or TangoDown.
