    Can I do this?

I am building a old school looking AR15, the upper I am getting is a mid-length BCM BFH upper with A2 front sight post and standard mid-length handguard. I am putting the BCM carry handle on it and wanting to go with a A2 butt stock kit also but not sure if since the A2 butt stock kit has a rifle length buffer system will it work with the BCM mid-length system. I am building this for my battle ready got to AR rifle also the one that I can take to training classes and shoot the hell out of it without much concern. Here is the pic of the upper I am getting. Thanks for the replies!

The BCG will be a M16 PSA premium Full auto BCG.

Every range has those guys. The sooner you learn to disreagrd 95% of what they say the better.

Three places to never get gun advice from:
    The range
    The gun store
    The internet

But Koshinn, you might say, this is the internet. Yes, yes it is.

    Fine example, right there.

pinger556, a couple years back I used to run the exact configuration (except I used a BCM BCG) you're talking about, and it worked wonderfully well. So well, in fact, I've been thinking of assembling another one just like it. Soft-shooting, accurate, completely reliable, comfortably balanced, fewer parts to go wrong or out of adjustment... were it not for the fact I had trouble paying rent back then, I never would've sold it.

Edited to add: I might go with the Magpul MOE furniture on mine, for ergonomics' sake, but that's just me.
