you could get an m6-SL, shave the fsb and then put a samson evolution handguard on it.

however you'll void the warranty of course.

FYI, LMT seems to be willing to sell complete MARS-L lowers down the line: http://www.lmtstore.com/lower-halves/m7lb2t.html
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Falkor Defense makes a more-or-less fully mirrored receiver set, but they're an unknown quantity.

Or, just buy the LWRC IC, and build a new upper. Keep the old upper, or sell it, or whatever.
LWRC ambi lowers seem to be $550-600 before shipping/transfer. Buying a whole rifle for the purpose of selling the upper would only be worth it if you think you can get $1500-1600+ for the upper, which might be hard with the AR market saturated as it is.

The LMT MARS-L lower looks interesting, I'd like to see how much they go for some time after they hit shelves.

Actually saw PWS now has their MK1 Mod2 uppers and rifles on their website and getting ready to start selling towards the end of February beginning of March. I might just wait for them to start selling their MK1 Mod2 complete lower later down the line. Saw on a different website that their lower was priced at $599.00 but not in stock yet.

The new PWS lowers don't have a right side bolt hold, though, which is pretty typical of most ambi AR lowers; if that's not important, there's many more options for you, such as Mega, San Tan Tactical, KAC, Rainier, etc. Not sure if any of those would be compatible with the Boonie Packer Redi-Catch to achieve full ambidexterity.
